Overview
Director is the flagship SD-WAN management platform from Ekinops, used by enterprises and service providers to orchestrate their network infrastructure. I joined to lead the complete redesign of the platform, modernizing its interface while building a scalable design system from scratch.
The Challenge
The legacy Director interface was built over many years with inconsistent UI patterns, dated visual design, and usability issues that slowed down network administrators. The challenge was to redesign the entire platform while maintaining feature parity and introducing a modern, accessible experience.

Analyzed the existing platform, interviewed users, and identified pain points in common workflows.
Design System
Created a comprehensive design system with 50+ components using shadcn/ui as foundation, ensuring consistency across all views.
Wireframing
Developed low-fidelity wireframes for key flows like site management, object configuration, and dashboard views.
High-Fidelity Design
Produced detailed mockups in Figma, iterating with stakeholders and developers to refine interactions.
