Overview
SOPHiA DDM is a cloud-based genomics platform used by hospitals and laboratories worldwide to analyze patient DNA and support clinical decisions. Over 7+ years at SOPHiA GENETICS, including 3 years as a graphic designer, I evolved into a Senior UX/UI Designer, shaping the platform's most critical workflows.
The Challenge
Genomic data is incredibly complex -- variant tables can contain thousands of rows, and clinicians need to quickly identify pathogenic mutations while avoiding false positives. The challenge was to make dense scientific data accessible and actionable for busy healthcare professionals.
